John A. Koteles passes away suddenly on July 21, 2026. John was born to the late Alex and Lillian Koteles and raised in Garfield Heights, graduated from Ohio State University, and recently retired from CSX railroad. According to friends and family, he was an avid Cleveland Browns fan and Dawg Pound member, loved golf and the outdoors, and a loyal friend. John is survived by his sister Jane, brother Alex, and extended family. He will be greatly missed, especially during football season when he always raised his famous battle cry “SUPER BOWL, BABY!”
