MICHAEL JOHN SZPATURA, age 63, passed away in Parma, Ohio. Beloved son of Stephen and Olga (Hawryluk) Szpatura, deceased. Loving brother of Neal Szpatura (Peggy). Friend to many. Mike was a news reporter at WERE radio and WEWS television and is also remembered as part of the Red Baron traffic report team. He only rode Harley-Davidson. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, Mike requested donations to the Greater Cleveland Food Bank, 15500 South Waterloo Road, Cleveland, Ohio 44110; or the West Creek Conservancy, 7381 Camelot Drive, Parma, Ohio 44134. Special thanks to Mike’s AA and NA friends, and the Northeast Ohio recovery community.
